Winter Aches Natural Treatments & Cold Remedies

This year, Mother Nature has been a little tough on us – switching to what we could call a freezing weather simply overnight, without notice or any kind of warning. Unfortunately for many of us, that lead to a few complications, mainly being having hard times to sleep (because of the quick transition), wake up, and for others, suffering from early signs of colds and flus. What we usually like to do when getting ill actually is to rush to drug store and buy anything that could cure us quickly and efficiently, whereas what we should all do first is trying natural and inexpensive cures, that are much better for our health, longevity and planet!

Matcha & Apricot Granola Bars

As I am sitting in my livingroom, at this long and massive golden birch table, my cats on my laps, a cup of warm green tea in my hands, I am thinking (this is such a perfect setting, not even wanted or invented for that matter!). It’s not a time for wise and sharp thoughts to appear, but it resembles more a thousands butterflies, flying free round my mind, fluttering their elegant and colourful wings around. It is interesting to see how bodies might change, just by thinking that some people might do a certain yoga posture and some other will never be able to. I’ve never thought about my table this way but it has gathered so many beautiful, sometimes heart-breaking, joyous or disastrous moments throughout the years. I wonder why my cat goes like clockwork – being perfectly aware when to wake us up, what to do to annoy us, when to come to ask for cuddles… These are the types of thoughts I am having at 6 am in the morning; but …

Liquid Happiness – Cacao Serenade Smoothie

I absolutely have no idea of whom had that crazily amazing idea to create smoothies, but I surely worship her (or him)! I am having smoothies all the time, especially in the spring and summer time, and for many different reasons: it is sometimes easier to drink a meal instead of eating it, which makes the digestive process much easier and the eating process much shorter; it also is a way to keep my meals lighter when working with food all day and testing each one of the recipes I am trying. Let me tell you how that love story started. When beginning my yoga practice more than two years ago (Oh dear, why is he always talking about yoga…?!), my Mum and I started that lovely tradition which was to grab a smoothie after our morning practice, in one of the cute bakeries of my hometown, and to drink it while wandering through very quiet and peaceful streets, lightened by the dim and pinkish sunrise light…

Cacao Chia Pudding & Raspberry Cream

Chocolate and raspberry has always been my favourite combination. I do not know how to explain it, since my entire family seem not to be approving, but this is just it; whether this is in brownies, cakes, chocolate bars or basically any type of healthy food that mixes both…well I am in heaven! After one of my numerous scrolls on Instagram, I spotted many different pictures involving these ingredients and I directly thought that it might be a good idea to share my very own recipe… First thing on the following morning for me has been to run to my kitchen and start putting ingredients together, tasting, failing, waiting, trying again, decorating, and shooting… the whole recipe making process. In the end, after a successful recipe trial and taking many shots I was very proud of, I ended up eating both glasses, which is something that was not planned at all but so incredibly delicious.

Late Summer Dinner – Sweet Potato, Green Beans & Tahini Dreamy Quinoa

Since the day I have jumped on this digital adventure with you all, I must admit that my life truly has changed. I will not go through all the details but let’s just say that health and lifestyle speaking, having a blog really motivated me to take even better care of myself, my nutrition, health, look and body. It’s not to say that I was not healthy before, but just that it reinforced all these things I aspire to do/be/become. Thus, I have been focusing on my Warm Yoga practice a whole lot, an activity that means everything for me at the moment. For this is a very demanding practice, and that I am trying to be a plantbased eater as much as possible, I really need a sufficient protein intake to help me rebuilt my muscles and keep my organism on good track!

The Yogi Menu – Light, Spicy & Loaded with Good Energy

After several discussions with my best and wisest advisers, hours spent to reflect on and design new recipes, hundreds of shots taken, a new idea came in like a light bulb turns on…sharing originals, whole & tasty menus, either being designed for an entire day plan or for one special occasion. Throughout this brand new series, you’ll get to have little peeks of what I eat in a normal day as well as having access to many more healthy, simple and thematic recipes. As you might have learnt throughout my Instagram account, I am right in the middle of a Hot Yoga Teacher Training. I guess that describing this marvellous experience, which is not over yet, would be senseless for now, and way too long I admit. Since I have not yet grasped all the beauty it has filled me with so far, talking about it seems not to be relevant. Anyway, throughout the following weeks, I’ve eaten quite the same food from day to day, testing my body, health, resistance as well as my …
