25 Reasons to Love Your Mom Like Nobody Else in the World

Happy Mother’s Day Peeps! To celebrate those lovely and unique beings, I wanted to share with you all something a little more unusual. I do not feel like there is a need of a specific day to celebrate my mother, but it still nice to be reminded to take her for granted. My mother is a warrior; she has been there since day one, and even though I literally, physically and mentally put her through hell since then, she never gave up on me and loved me so deeply I can’t even understand. She is the one who gave birth to me, who went through pain, horror, doubts and fear for me; she is the one who fed me, who taught me how to walk, who later taught me to believe in myself, who supported me and showed me that everyone is unique and that nobody is worth more than somebody else. She taught me that hard work pays, that ambition would lead me to do everything I wanted, that self-love is the essential and …

Ras-el Hanout Carrot Soup with Crushed Pistachios & Coconut Milk

Ras-el Hanout is a North African spice blend that is traditionally made out of the merchant’s best spices. It is usually added to savoury dishes, meat or fish, stirred into couscous or rice, but I believe it to be delicious with all the things, especially soups and winter or spring vegetables. There is no definitive composition of spices that makes up ras-el-hanout, but it actually is up to every family, shop and merchant to choose from all their spices; however, if you’d fancy a little precision and do not like the unknown, here are the fourteen usual spices it consists of: cardamom, cumin, clove, cinnamon, coriander seed, ginger, allspice, chill peppers, nutmeg, mace, peppercorn, paprika, fenugreek and turmeric. It’s a red-gold powder, which actually is quite sweet but can really be sprinkled on top of everything. If you do not know what to do with a few rotting vegetables, a pumpkin or even some Kale

#GGTips: 8 Ways to Love 2016 & Make 2017 Glow

I plead guilty for I have sinned. Well, if you consider not publishing anything for a month a sin! I indeed had to take some time off, away from social medias and from my digital world for several reasons. First, if you’ve been following me on my social medias, you might have understood that I’ve lost someone incredibly close to my heart. Therefore, as my holidays were kind of messy, full of unforeseen events, horribly sad moments, I did not have the heart to publish a thing. I felt like my entire being has been knocked down; I could feel my cells drained from all their energy. I tried to write from time to time, but what came out either where blank pages or dull lines of words, tasteless, emotionless. I believed it to be the right choice not to share anything with you all, as I really wanted to take time for myself as well as keep that place a universe of happiness. However, now that I am starting to feel myself again, I …

#GGTips – Winter Aches Natural Treatments & Cold Remedies

This year, Mother Nature has been a little tough on us – switching to what we could call a freezing weather simply overnight, without notice or any kind of warning. Unfortunately for many of us, that lead to a few complications, mainly being having hard times to sleep (because of the quick transition), wake up, and for others, suffering from early signs of colds and flus. What we usually like to do when getting ill actually is to rush to drug store and buy anything that could cure us quickly and efficiently, whereas what we should all do first is trying natural and inexpensive cures, that are much better for our health, longevity and planet!

My Yoga Journey + Yoga Afternoon Events Reviews + Big Surprise Revealed!

I believe that if you’ve been following me for quite a while, you’ve noticed that I am not only fond of healthy food, nice details, expressive pictures (aka. perfectionism) and declaring my love for life, but also of the yoga world. It would not be easy to say how much it has brought me since the beginning; and to be honest, I would never have pictured me like so a few years from now. Before giving you crispy but only a few details on my yoga journey, as well as telling you about the events I threw and the big adventure I am about to start, let me just introduce it all to you with this. It took me days, months, and even years to come up with all these ideas and to have the courage to bring them to life. There’s no magic behind it, just a strong will, determination, passion and a hint of quirkiness. What I am about to tell you today might not appear to be that impressive (this is how …

Monday Motivation – 19th of September

« Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud. » – Maya Angelou  I’ve been trying to read a little more for a couple of days. Creating recipes, writing articles, studying, practicing yoga and socializing do not leave that much space for another creative activity like reading. However, I know that I need that “literary brain food”, that sparkle of inspiration, these meaningful lines that usually make me fly away. Not only does it inspire me to bring a few changes now and then in my routine, but it really opens my mind and spirit to new ideas, discoveries and thoughts. Anyway, in one of my desperate attempts to take time and read a few lines, I came across Maya Angelou’s work and a few of her famous lines. Two of them really struck me; and this is one of them…
